It served as a great reminder of a terrific and unpredictable season that ended before its time. Of course, most league tournaments didn’t finish before all the cancelations. And of course there were the tournament trophy shots, such as they were, from Hofstra and East Tennessee State winning their respective conference tourneys. And there’s the inevitable North Carolina head-hanging visual as well.īut Goren also captured some of the season’s best memories, from Michigan State’s Cassius Winston’s Senior Night to plenty of Dayton star Obi Toppin dunkage, plays by this year's biggest All-America candidates and big shots galore. There’s a bit of hammering away at NC State’s in-state rivals in there, from multiple clips from Duke’s upset losses to Virginia center Jay Huff’s dunk and blocked shot against the Blue Devils. With no tournament, Goren’s project couldn’t have been better timed, or well received.

Goren gathered clips from throughout the season and put together a 2019-20 version of One Shining Moment for everyone to enjoy. And with no NCAA Tournament this year, it made sense that there wouldn’t be any One Shining Moment, either.īut Max Goren, an 18-year-old NC State student, came to the rescue.
